not in the sense that i can compare it to something
but the worst the nightmare, the better it tastes

i can eat human food
but it doesn't provide sustenance like nightmares do

What's your favorite human food?

i really like noodles
ramen or udon or soba
or gyoza

i was curious about the festival

I enjoy cooking from time to time.

For me, there's few things better than takoyaki. Manjuu is good.

How are you finding it?

it seems like fun
i cant say ive done it though

things are calming down but it got a little crazy because of the moon disappearing

but i like watching people cook more i think

on a scale of 1-10, maybe a 6?
there were monsters
i'm not the best judge because i'm used to it

though if it's something this place caused then i guess monster doesn't really fit

For some, in some way, it might. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that something like that should happen here as well.

They did. The information wasn't made available to us until it was too late. The ball was dropped.

but hopefully this doesn't happen again
specifically this or them being too late to inform us
though i'm slightly doubtful on the latter
not to be pessimistic

It sounds to me more like realism than pessimism.

At the very least, I'm inclined to believe it wasn't malicious.

You think that'll do any good? The humans here aren't Dormant, but I haven't seen much to suggest Heaven interacts directly with Nippon's government.

they always had someone from heaven planted in courts and whatnot just to keep an eye on things

I wonder if it's the same here?

Dormant individuals are spiritually blind and unable to see the whole of the world. They're incapable of seeing those preternatural beings not possessing some physical material on Earth. The majority of humans where I come from are Dormant.

that's what i intend to find out

most humans are like that where i'm from as well
they know who we are because of stories but many don't think we actually exist
though more have begun being born being able to see us
it's a "problem" right now in my world

i don't see the problem, that's how it used to be

I've met a few before you whose worlds have some similarities to mine, but yours might take the cake.

my employment is up in the air right now

it's interesting, isn't it? i've heard of other worlds that have some similar things, but then again, they're also completely different

That sounds like a very personal story.

I'm not sure what's more interesting sometimes between the similarities or the differences. I do like hearing about them, though.
